The charity connects and supports passionate individuals and groups to create social change and inspire a kinder society.

Willow Farrell

I love reading, books are my happy place! I also enjoy baking, cinema and gaming.

Willows says:

To me the Missing Kind is a place full of wonderful people, who inspire each other to do and be the best they can.

Jen Dawe

Nothing makes me happier than spending time with my friends and family and seeing them smile.  My main passions outside of working here are psychology, so-bad-they're-good Christmas films, and cosying up with a good book.

Jen's experience of the Missing Kind

I love working for a charity that has the same principles and beliefs about the transformative power of kindness as I do, and am so lucky to meet the multi-skilled, lovely people that I get to meet here.

Sarah Rich

KindaKafe Manager

Sarah loves listening to a good murder mystery audiobook whilst she lovingly prepares all our kafe food.

Mandy Horne

Project Support & Social Impact

I enjoy writing and dream of changing the world through creativity

Mandy's thoughts on the work of the charity:

We work with people who have great ideas for social impact projects but need the support and confidence to realise their passion.  It's great that the charity provides resources that help others make a difference

Abbie Clark

Director at Roots Marketing - responsible for Marketing, Social Media and Events management for the Missing Kind

I love my garden and like to be immersed in nature as often as possible.  In the Summer my hammock under the plum trees is my sanctuary!

What Abbie thinks about the Missing Kind:

The idea is to help the community, both local and global, to become a more caring, compassionate and supportive environment, where everyone is valued and all are equal.

Lynda Scott

KindaShop Supervisor

One of my favourite things to do is to walk along the beach with my feet in the sea.

As one of the first ever volunteers and the KindaShop Supervisor, Lynda knows a great deal about the Missing Kind

We like to help people make more ethically informed choices, to make a difference in the world by using the power of the pound in their pocket.
