Slow Theatre Slow Theatre Company has provided expert classes in acting and stage techniques to children and young people since 2011. In 2015 the company was registered as a company limited by guarantee to become a Social Enterprise. This move was to represent Slow's founder, Danny O'Hara, personal belief that social good can come from business; that this not-for-profit theatre company can offer excellent services whilst also providing opportunities for people and communities that face challenges. We moved to the Missing Kind in 2017. Social Mission Founded on an ethos of cooperation and team building, Slow Theatre combines laughter and fun with concentration and group work to help people develop in confidence and communication skills either in community projects, bespoke workshops or in our weekly classes. Slow Theatre teaches the techniques of stage craft and communication. We strive to be inclusive, tolerant and always treat people with respect. Slow Theatre Company follows the ethos of the Slow Movement trying to take care of our journey as well as the final product. At Slow Theatre Company the ethos will be about cooperation, team building, and developing confidence, nurturing, being in the moment, promoting emotional wellbeing and developing skills and performing at a high level. The Projects we are currently running are: A creative arts project in the NR2 area of Norwich Children's classes in Wymondham on a Saturday Dementia friendly wellbeing workshops for people living with dementia and their Carers and people living with chronic illness.
